Egg My tinnitus is similar to yours static hiss did have a very veryvery sea shell sound for years never bothered me but this static one is bothering me. I have it since end of Jan after a head cold. Still waiting for it to go even tho my headcold has gone months ago.

Hello, Could you recommend discreet hearing protection for being in normal everyday loud environments. I do not have hyperacusis. Just one ear has tinnitus in it. Thank you.

Check out the MuteButton thread, it may not cure all but reduce severity. It's due for market release this year, fingers crossed.
