Try using masking noises at night on a low volume to distract from the noise. Keep yourself calm and relaxed if you can, have a chamomile tea or warm milk before bed. Magnesium glycinate seems to work for others on here for sleep issues. Also get checked out with your Dr, audiologist and ENT if you haven't already :)

You need to work on your mindset. You're probably in a state of panic right now. It's going to be horrible for a while, but it can improve a bit faster if you focus on feeling safe. Don't overthink the future and don't draw any conclusions. I would be a bit careful with the sleep meds, the benzo stuff has a side effect of inducing anxiety. Try Melantonin instead and reduce screen time.

thanks for your responses, i still cant sleep without sleeping tablets. i tried to last night for 4 hours. i am also in sertraline for 8 days. i dont know if its the combination of them that is stopping me from sleeping. during the days i cam drowsy because of the sleeping tablets as they only let me sleep for about 4 hours.
