    Tinnitus Since:
    2007
I'm an active senior who is constantly looking for a way to help my tinnitus. I have a situation where my T will go away for at least a day a week and I think it is gone and then it comes right back?? I listen almost daily to tinnitus hypnosis tapes for relaxation.
I try not to let it interfere with my life, but it is hard for other people to understand when I can't be around "loud music" etc; I just wear ear plugs and hope for the best. My T came on suddenly when we coming down out of the mountains, and it has never gone away:(( I haven't figured out a way to habituate it since it comes and goes so much.
I am very interested in alternative ways to treat this. I tried Arches, but it seems like too high a dose of everything for my body?? I would do more acupuncture if I could find a way to have my insurance cover it! Just staying active has proved the best for me. I listen to a sound machine at night and take melatonin nightly. I would love to learn what others find useful for this dreaded problem.
