- Cause of Tinnitus:
- c1 / c2 manipulation by manual therapist
UPDATE DEC 2020: I have pulsatile tinnitus, yet it doesn't follow my pulse. It seems to follow fluctuate with every 2nd or 3d heartbeat, which may be a stronger beat due to an arrythmia. An ECG will be made on thursday dec 24....
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have somatic tinnitus due to manipulation of neck: c1 / c2
Muscle tension and posture strongly influence my tinnitus; And so does food / nutrients
I use magnesium with vit B.. ,vit D and taurin to keep it low (muscle relaxers)
Vanilla and cinnamon make it soooo much worse.
So do Omega3/6/.. supplements
This makes me believe TRPA1 , a pain sensor in the body, is related to Tinnitus. It has become my hobbyhorse
Coffee doesn't change it, thank God
Once a physical therapist 'massaged' the muscles on the front of my neck, below my chin, above the the clavicles... the worst week ever followed. Nothing could cover the hiss. I only hung in there knowing that effects of wrong treatments wear out in 3 to 5 days.
By the way, did you know that TRPA1 not only responds to chemicals but to mechanical pressure too? Sounds interesting for those who have [somatosensory] tinnitus that responds to facial movements!!Interact
