Prednisone is just a corticosteroid. It stops inflammation. It has all sorts of side effects but I don't think going after support cells is one of them.

Just returned home with my Lenire and now I'll be logging off here for the next couple of weeks or until I have something to report. Tata!

FWIW, I neither need nor expect complete silence. I'd love to just get back to where I was before getting screwed by Neomycin ear drops. I think reasonable expectations of just taking the edge off are helpful here.

I'm in California, each trip costs me $1k and my employer has an office in Dublin where I can drop in and work so it's not costing me PTO. I'd obviously rather not be spending money but it's worth the try.

Because I've begun the process of habituation. It's always there when I think about it but I now go for hours at a time without noticing it--including in environments where I used to notice it constantly. Habituation is my cure. Lenire is just icing on the cake.
