- Tinnitus Since:

- Cause of Tinnitus:
- Hearing Loss, but I think related to Lamictal
I am a Christian, wife, mother, Social Worker, and cat lover. I love to read books and enjoy music. I love friends, laughing, photography, and writing. I have three blogs going and am enjoying writing which offsets the job search process.
My tinnitus started in about 2004. It only gets really loud when I have had too much salts and/or sweets. I started seeing a nutritionist, because I was struggling so much with what to eat to help reduce it. She has suggested a plant based diet, which I am working on developing now.
It is worse when it is quiet when I climb into bed especially. I take some medication for other medical issues and it helps me to sleep until I wake up and it is louder then. I am very grateful that my husband has adjusted to having a noise masker in the room. Between that and the medication I am able to fall asleep.Interact
