In the 90's the Tinnitus drove me nutz. I tried self medicating with beer. I would drink enough each night to pass out. Something had to give, and unfortunately I didn't realize that I was becoming a drunk with tinnitus. I checked myself in and got dried up, was good for a couple of months, went back to hospital and haven't had any alcohol trouble since 2003. Have had a few beers since, don't care for them anymore, so I'm over it. I live with it, and like many it really bothers me on a beautiful starry night. Looking up is so cool except for the loud "white noise" blaring in my head :/ Or trying to get to sleep. Wish y'all the best in coping. good luck, Laurin
