Thanks for your reply, I will keep this in mind when I am able to use in-ear earphones. However I am looking for headphones due to the external otitis/swimmer's ear.

Dear community, I am looking for a pair of discreet ear protecting headphones. I can not use ear-plugs at the time being due to external otitis/swimmer's ear. I want to use them when I go to the gym (as an example). I have been thinking about maybe getting noise cancelling/isolation headphones...
