Update on My Cure! Please Read. It Might Help Someone.

I would like to add that my T sound was NOT pulsatile nor did it seem to be in time with my heart beat. I thought it was inner ear related because the T was only in my left ear and lying on that ear made it worse but lying on my right side could quiet it down and sometimes stop it. So I had no...

Very Confused with All the Different Advice and Success Stories

An MRI is not a waste of time if the cause of your tinnitus is something like a tumour which can and does happen. One hundred people could have T and every one of them could have a different cause from a tight neck or ear damage to a brain tumour. So you will get overwhelmed with advice...

Driving While One Window Down Caused a Spike

Possibly the trigmenal nerves in your face were affected by the wind and they can cause many problems. If I stroked the side of my face it would make my ears buzz! Because those nerves which run through the centre of your brain come through the ear and jaw and into your face and branch out to...

    Intermittent Tinnitus

I did have for many years if you care to look at my story. I recently discovered that mine was actually due to my heart. Blood was not getting to areas of the brain during periods of ventricular tachycardia and now that my heart is being controlled by meds my tinnitus and accompanying symptoms...

Update on My Cure! Please Read. It Might Help Someone.

I just want to update my condition in case it might be of help to someone out there experiencing similar symptoms. Some years ago I was on this site as I had seven long years of daily intermittent tinnitus like a “tink” sound or sometimes fast like a Geiger counter but it would make my eyes...

    Cardiac Cause of Tinnitus

Thanks Glynis. Have read many many articles and lots about menierres but have been investigated for that and my ears are fine. Nobody, none of the doctors or specialists have ever heard of the symptoms I describe (I briefly mentioned them in my post here as I have already described them in...

    Cardiac Cause of Tinnitus

Hi everyone. I have been absent for some years from this site. I thought my tinnitus was cured with a TMJ splint. It did go away almost a whole year and although it returned (my tinnitus has been sporadic never constant) it wasn’t as frequent or as disabling (my tinnitus affects my vision and...

Seems a Miracle Cure (TMJ Splint)

I'm still improving every day but if I improved no more than this I'm still over the moon. Barely hear the click any longer and when I do my vision is often unaffected at all and the noise is so quiet. When it does shake my vision it's only mildly and it doesn't bother me.

Seems a Miracle Cure (TMJ Splint)

Both ears I think but right ear doesn't bother me. Quiet and I would never notice it unless I listen carefully. Left ear has loud click, also humming and hiss. The click is bothersome as it shakes my vision around. I wear the splint all night and all day. I saw the top TMJ guy in this part...

Hello All. Recently Diagnosed with Tinnitus.

Mine would come and go throughout the day and night sporadically. Anything is possible with T from the stories I've read. I think if it's coming and going that's a good sign too.

Seems a Miracle Cure (TMJ Splint)

seven years of shaking vision and loud noise in my ear driving me insane and only three months after getting my TMJ splint this hell is almost completely gone. I'm not saying everyone with T needs a TMJ splint. Obviously T is caused by many different things. But I must say I'm one of the...
