Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

Phase I/II is currently ongoing, if I'm not mistaken they are still recruiting for it as-well.

I went through his post history and apparently his main problem was the location being in a "ghetto". Here is the facility for anyone interested...

Frequency Therapeutics — Hearing Loss Regeneration

Generally Phase 2 can take anywhere from several months to 2 years, how long after it's completed will we get results is anyone's guess as we still haven't even seen any published results from Phase 1 as far as I'm aware, and that was completed back in December 2017. Phase 2 will officially...

    How Do You Guys Sleep?

I use a really loud fan right next to my head to help me sleep, sleep on my back as sleeping on my side causes the ringing on my pillow ear to be unbearably loud, exercise such as cardio a few hours before sleep will release some endorphins along with helping you physically feel exhausted...

We need someone from this forum on the inside of the clinical trial, even if there is all kinds of red tape and ndas just knowing that there is some improvement without having to wait another 2-3 years for the official results would be amazing. Audion Therapeutics Trial

Hopefully they give Frequency Therapeutics a run for their money, competition is king and if more then one research lab has been able to achieve the same results then we may very well have a cure. No smoke and mirrors or investment scam but real hope.

Even if it doesn't repair synapses in already dying/damaged hair cells, the theoretical improvement in T tone would make those hair cells irrelevant, if it can turn a loud T tone into a sleight hiss in a quiet room then they've essentially cured 90% of people's problems with T sans any further...

Steroids: Prednisone / Dexamethasone / Others (Oral and Intratympanic Injections)

I don't know anecdotally I perceived the ringing as louder while I was on methylprednisolone, could just have been me being hyper-aware of it as it's subsided quite a bit to the point where I can tune it out. I hope others fare as well I did in the future.

Steroids: Prednisone / Dexamethasone / Others (Oral and Intratympanic Injections)

I took a 6 day course of methylprednisolone for acoustic trauma and it elevated the already present T-tone to the point I could hear it constantly over everything along with mild hyperacusis which subsided the day after I finished my cycle. I should add I was extremely depressed whiler taking it...

So are the synapses what transmits the signal to the brain? So even if the hair is regrown they are technically unplugged unless the synapses can reconnect, so long as the connection isn't made the ringing would still be around since the brain still isn't receiving?

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere but Stage 1 is simply a test to make sure the drug doesn't kill the person they administer it to or harm them in some way? Stage 2 would be testing the effectiveness of the drug and if it shows any improvement? Then what would Stage 3 be, long-term...
