- Cause of Tinnitus:
- Labrynthitus/Meineers Disease
I woke up and my left ear was plugged. Next morning I woke up with severe vertigo. Spinning, vomiting, dizzy, sweaty.I missed the whole month of work. Too dizzy to drive. I was taking meclazine, but since the motion testing they want me to quit taking it. I'm severely deaf in that ear with tinnitus. My brain has to learn how to function with one ear, and the meclazine suppress the brain.
I also had a hearing test, motion testing and MRI. My ear feels full, and humming or dial tone all the time. I'm suppose to watch my salt intake. Dr is not sure if it's Meineers ,Labruhtitis. My motion testing clinic called it Unilateral Vestibular Loss. Whatever it is, a hearing aid wouldn't help, that ear is pretty much done. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Interact
