- Tinnitus Since:
- Nov 2015
- Cause of Tinnitus:
- Menieres Disease
I have had Meniere's since my first vertigo attack on 5 November 2015. It was the most scariest thing I've ever experienced. For about 6 weeks over Christmas that year I'd be in bed with vertigo for about 6-7 hours. Finally I got an assessment with the ENT and he then sent me to a Balance therapist. She diagnosed me with Menieres. I also have been to this ENT , as I have 7 pea sized non malignant cysts down my right neck, there are 1 or 2 near the ear. They were a result of a burst parodaectamy (large watery cyst in a bag) at the age of 17. The Balance Therapist then said I was to be prescribed behistamine. Over the last year, I have had all sorts of things, like the tinnatus slowly got worse, dizzy attacks, balance problems, vommitting etc. So each day is such a challenge. I have seen a Sleep specialist as I was getting not much sleep. In November 2016 I saw a specialist audiologist for a look at retraining therapy, and this has been largely not much relief, like the tinnatus is still there. I have tried the "Tinnitus Miracle" by Coleman and have tried juicing, and my diet has had some tweaking. So I'm trying everything, in a sense it wears me out!Interact
