Hello, I am glad to join this support group as it is much needed. I first experienced tinnitus as a child in middle school ate. It woke me up in the middle of the night and was frightening. Over the many years, my tinnitus would continue be very mild and occassional with episodes not lasting more than a few seconds and ocurring only once in a while. I college I had a bout of tinnitus that lasted a few weeks and then in 2014, at the age of 40 I had a bout that lasted nearly half a year.Interact
