I thought hearing aids come in pairs. Why have only one in the ear with T ? Do you have hearing loss ?

Just read a story online a woman with a cyst was give Gabapentin in the hospital and then developed Tinnitus. Wonderful that with Lyrica are oxotoxic and ruin your hearing let alone T.

NAC is only a protective measure against noise induced danger so ear plugs may be a better choice without the side effects. Also what is the FDA opinion on NAC ?

Very interesting article but the problem with lithium is it's a sodium chemical and that would drive someone's Tinnitus through the roof as most doctors recommend low sodium diet for T sufferers.

Guess its all how one reacts. Those at 20 dbs doesnt bother them while someone with 2 dbs is freaking out. Guess thats what im trying to understand.

Right ear @8,000 measures 30db where left ear @8,000 measures 20db. Told my T match was 12db. Is this considered loud ?

My ENT told me those looking for a cure never get better. Just live with it and you will be fine. 2nd ENT told me to take Lipoflavonoid . I give up ENT are only concerned about surgery on deviated septum or cosmetic nose jobs. They have no clue about the brain or nervous system.

I was prescribed this drug for it's off label. According to Kevin Hogan this can cure T ? The drug is for herpes zoster and pain. It's making my ears hurt and I think it's bullshit. Anyone have success with this drug eliminating Tinnitus ?

3 1/2 months in shouldn't things be getting better not worse ? Not sure how my symptoms haven't gotten worse but feel isolated from society. Please tell me it gets better.

There are people with hearing loss and deaf that have T. Be happy you can still mask your T. Nobody is ever cured from subjective tinnitus , maybe habituated . Confused all these people that say they are cured like Shatner , for how did he go from suicidal to being cured by using a White noise...
