Had tinnitus as a sophomore in high school. Now I'm a sophomore in college. I haven't checked Tinnitus Talk since May 2018 and I asked the same thing, seemed that we were getting close to treatment. Now over a year has passed, and I'm wondering if there's any good news.

My first two months as a 15-year-old with tinnitus were rough, but honestly, I got over it. Even now, I wear earbuds without much concern, although I do keep the volume low. It has been two years since then. Are there any major updates in tinnitus research that I should know about? Is a cure...

My tinnitus is usually from my ears, but if im in the bathroom sitting down, the tinnitus will shift to my head.

I think it's my power supply and motherboard; gonna replace it soon. Yep, if I'm in the bathroom sitting down, it'll shift to my head, but the moment I stand up and move around it goes back to the ears.

Oh yeah, this might sound weird but sometimes when I sit down and use the toilet, the tinnitus shifts to my head.

It isn't perfectly quiet. I hear a low sound high pitched ring. It aggravates my tinnitus. My friend who I assume does not have Tinnitus says he can also hear my computer making a high pitch noise.
