It helps the feeling of pressure in my head and ears. I don't know why, but after I damaged my hearing 6 months ago while being in a nightclum with earplugs, I've been nauseous all the time. It also helps to that. But this feeling of tirenedness is a nasty side effect. Can't really win.

Yes. It's the feeling that is worst. I don't give a f*** about the whining anymore. But the feeling of pressure, being nauseous, feeling like someone is burning my ear with a laser from inside my head, that's the deal breaker. This condition is more than just the noise.

So, I have a choice. Be nauseous 24/7 and feel like my head has been hit like a baseball bat OR feel somewhat normal, but be tired. I did some major damage to myself 6 months ago, and I've been slightly nauseous and had balance issues since then. Luckily Betaserc medication helps, but makes me...

I forgot to renew my Betaserc recipe. I've been without it for 3 days now and my ears are definitely worse. Louder and ears are also aching. I hope I get a new prescription soon.

Did a 2-day photographing gig in a theater. Music was very loud. first day I only had earplugs on. But 2nd day, I had double protection! Earmuffs (Peltor 30db SNR) + earplugs! Not the ideal way to work, but it was the only way.

Still getting this weird nausea feeling after certain sounds. I just played old game trought CRT-TV and the volume was not even loud. But it's the high pitch whining that gets to me.

Seven Months with Sound-Induced Tinnitus: Is Anyone Seeing Improvements or Finding Hope?

Please tell me, what kind of hearing test blasts your ears with 12 kHz at 90 dB? Was it done by professionals? Here, tests go only up to 8 kHz, and never anywhere near 90 dB. The volume is about the same as normal speech. Yes, it takes a long time, but if you can live almost normally again...

Seven Months with Sound-Induced Tinnitus: Is Anyone Seeing Improvements or Finding Hope?

Well, it reached a point where I barely heard my tinnitus anymore, and my hyperacusis disappeared as well. But now my tinnitus has gotten worse again, because I went to a club with earplugs about four months ago. I was feeling so good that I thought I could handle it. I was wrong. Never again.

Seven Months with Sound-Induced Tinnitus: Is Anyone Seeing Improvements or Finding Hope?

It took me about 4 years to feel “normal” again, and 6 years until I didn’t even think about it anymore. Then I messed up once by going into a club with earplugs, and I was almost back at the beginning. Just give it time. You’ll take steps forward and backward, but always remember the good...

Lenire — Bimodal Stimulation Treatment by Neuromod

All these devices are a big fat hoax. Usually, any improvement happens naturally over time. Of course, if a person uses a device for three months, they might believe it is the device making the difference. It is time that makes the real change. Some medication might improve the condition...
