Dog (Golden Retriever) Bark — Could It Be a Problem?

I have 3 small dogs. One is a half Jack Russell. He has an ear splitting screeching bark every time he wants to go out or he feels ignored. Fortunately it never really bothers my ears. I might be used to it.

    ENT or Neurologist

Just a brief history on me. I had tinnitus for 15 years. I habituated to it 10 years ago and was fine most of that time, now a few months ago this crap started to happen. I had many hearing exams etc, it's a waste of time and money and I don't feel like going through that again.

    ENT or Neurologist

I'm wondering who would be the best doctor for me, an ENT or Neurologist. Once in a while at night I get a bad buzzing or like someone beating the cymbals on their drum set at the back of my head. Then my ears start to scream. Fortunately that doesn't last that long but enough to scare me. Maybe...

Have Had Tinnitus for 10+ Years? Do You Still Have Your Original Tone That First Became Permanent?

I had mine for 15 years. I habituated for the last 10 years, but the last few months it was gotten worse and I have 3 or 4 different sounds. Right now it sounds like drums and, I forgot what they are called, the brass disks are being beaten real loud! it's scary.

    Do You Have Multiple Sounds?

I don't feel alone anymore! I thought it was only me with this problem. I had tinnitus for about 15 years. I habituated to it for years because it was only one sound. But the last few months it's gotten worse with many new different sounds. But I habituated to it before and I'll do it again! I...

10 Years with Tinnitus — Major Spike 2 Months Ago — Now It's Better!

Megatron, This is exactly the same thing that happened to me. I had T for 15 years. It was bad at first but after a few years I habituated to it. Now 2 months ago I had a spike and it's not going down that much. I can hear it in the shower if I listen for it. I need some sleeping pills to help...

My Success Story! (Cut Out the Coffee)

Jim, I have the exact problem. I grind my teeth at night and drink coffee in the morning. I only have maybe 2 cups in the morning so I didn't think it would be any problem. I guess it is. I"ll cut it out and reduce the salt too. I have high blood pressure so no salt will help that too. I'm going...

Hate to say lol but I'm in the same boat. I'm protecting my ears but I hear the ringing a lot more. Then they scream all day. But they calm down some at night. .

    My Ears Are Screaming!

I think that's my problem I over protect my ears so now they can't handle loud noises too well. I work in the clean room in a Semiconductor Company the noise is loud but it is in the safety range. I think maybe I'm just overreacting to it I hope. Because it does go back to my normal range.

    My Ears Are Screaming!

I doubt it. I wasn't there too long, only for a few minutes. My other area was around 70db. My ears went back to my normal now. .
