This is a positive development, just keep focusing on that. Spikes are tough, but I truly believe this will also subside.

Would increased intake of sugar and caffeine also increase the sound your tinnitus? Had a sweet tooth the last couple of weeks and have noticed a heightened volume. Curious if people had the same.

It's crazy how tinnitus works, huh. Here I am, completely habituated when suddenly it worsens, out of nowhere. I haven't had an acoustic trauma, am not sick, just got slightly worse out of thin air. Oh well, people who say that T worsens no matter what you do are probably right.

As far as I know, HBOT is only effective if you do it within the first 3 days after onset. It can never hurt to try, tho.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out @Markku. Like someone else already mentioned, this group was in need of a reality check. Let's just wait for future updates and try our best to go about our day without thinking about this device.

I am *this* close to writing a success story. Tinnitus hasn't reduced in the slightest, but habituation is real.
