Everytime I think it can't get worse, I'm proven wrong with a new tone, that is often worse. Just trying to do basic things like taking a bath or eating or taking ear plugs out for a few hours at night. At this point I don't know if the new tones are sound exposure or from meds and my brain is just too beyond messed up. My vss is also progressing. Nox seems controlled still with quiet.
Hey, how are you doing? our tinnitus profiles seem surprisingly similar. Most people mention a couple of tones, but I get several dozen in each ear, and none of them are constant too--they're all rhythmic and melodic ("alien" as you described), like my brain is looping random bits of sound it picked up at some point in life and just keeps playing them back.
No longer able to sleep over 3 hours even on benzos. T is too intrusive and h causes every noise to jolt me awake. Nox is off and on I guess.
Accidentally messed up my benzo cross taper and was taking way too little. Went up to almost the correct dose but it isn't working.
Ears are so sensitive. Every car that drives by causes a squeak or a reaction in tinnitus. Can't get away from the cars. Some pain around ear.
Yesterday wasn't too bad. We will see what today holds. Left ear feeling very sensitive and popping along with unstable tinnitus and H in both ears still. Nox seems…controlled? (Fingers crossed).
You got nox from clonazepam? or any other damage megatron

My update; Ear burning getting worse. T fluctuates from pure hell to severe based on Ativan dose.Hey, I am in klonopin withdrawal, 15 months along. My tinnitus is pretty bad the past few days. I have about 8 tones altogether, but some days are a lot better and I it seems more like 3/4 tones. Hang in there… I have an 8 year old and an 8 month old. You seem really scared.
Today starts next taper dose of Ativan. Already in a bad place. I'm nervous.
It's getting so bad. Maybe I should just stay on benzos and up my dose. This is insane.

New T tones just get worse by the day. I think it's the benzos. Still holding taper. Miserable.
Another day in my room in plugs. So scared this Ativan taper will kill me. I'm not nearly as strong as Padraigh or Brian and look what it did to them. They have kids too. Benzos are evil.

Staying on my taper of Ativan at 1/4 of a 0.5 pill 3x a day. My tinnitus is insane. 10 different sounds in head and ears. I'm also having ear pain and extreme hyperacusis. I'm very scared. It seems all the suicide stories here got bad multitonal tinnitus from benzos like me. Trying to stay strong but worried I'll just be a memorial post in a few months. One tone vibrates my entire head.
