      Hey.

I've read your story and wanted to ask if you found a safer alternative for Nitroglycerin.

I need to use it, but I don't know what to do, as I already have tinnitus.

My fissures just resolved on their own after 4-5 months. Ironically it turns out I never needed the nitro. You might get an rx for diltiazem topical as much better tolerated than nitro for ongoing fissures if they don’t heal

I'm glad to hear they eventually resolved for you.

I read that if a fissure isn't naturally resolved by 6 weeks, then it becomes chronic and harder to treat.

It can take way longer than that. Those stats are what drove me to worry and take the nitro. Apparently they (fissures) will come and go throughout life so be prepared but they tend to improve again with time
