An audiologist could refer you on for an MRI if your hearing loss is one-sided.

Yeah, I'm not sure I would dare to do one since some people get worse T from them. Do they have to do an MRI to know? I did and MRI for my knees before and I don't remember it being very loud

I was wondering about that. I was referred to an audiology department, with the view that they would send me for an MRI, because the douchy uninterested ENT I saw could only pick up a one sided hearing loss with his basic bitch hearing test. I also have birthmark on my forehead, so he thought it might indicate an acoustic neuroma. Why, I don't know.
