May I ask you where are you from? In my country piracetam is one of the first go to medicines, and the results are not that great...

I am from Turkey. I stopped using this drug. I guess it won't work on me.

Hungary. I took piracetam for 2 months, then stopped, because it did absolutely nothing.

@Kriszti When I stopped taking it, the ugly high frequency sound was gone, the hissing came back. Hissing is better, more bearable. I cannot stand the thin voice. I will continue without medication in the upcoming period. I'll just use magnesium.

Is this medicine harmful for those with hyperacusis? It was as if my hyperacusis increased while taking the medicine.
