@JPGL no they don't interrupt the rest of the t. The zaps sound like car breaks squealing or sharp zings. I think they're just part of the t itself- I have the steam hissing and the hissing is pulsating. Every so often, it creates a zap-like zing that is very high frequency and causes physical pain. Feels like being electrically shocked, best way I can describe it.
