I've been waiting for this as well, resting on some statements from audiologists I saw previously that "when your nervous system calms down, the tinnitus is going to disappear". I'm finding this more and more to be a load of crap.
there are some days that happens to me but only when I am in a good mood, the tinnitus is not blasting or buzzing my brain, and when im distracted. otherwise forget it lol
This feels like this is the most realistic thinking. If anything my T has gotten louder. Over time I have just trained myself to get busy. When you are wholly engaged in something interesting you don't realize your not listening to your T. but the moment you think about it... game on!
When I came out of anethesia from my wisdom tooth surgery I didn't hear it at all. It was like it was gone. I completely forgot about it. That only lasted like 30 min after I was "aware"
