When I first got T took me about 8 months to gain confidence to do stupid things. Earphones, nightclubs, power tools all without hearing protection and no issues what so ever… until now. Now I'll put ear plugs in just to fart
You have to ask yourself is it worth the risk? I currently can't even listen to music through a speaker. I'll happily never put an AirPod back in my ear if I can just watch some tv or listen to a single song through a speaker
Thanks for sharing you experience man and I'm very sorry for you, I hope things improve. It's tough for me to see other people hanging around happily with their AirPods because that used to be my source of happiness but we have to remind ourselves that things can be much worser.
I believe my tinnitus was caused by many years of earwax accumulation caused by the AirPods itself so definitely it would be a very stupid idea for me.
I'm going to stick with over the ears ANC headphones that I currently only use for flying to knock off the engine noise.
