When my hissing is bad I can also feel it. On some days I get electrical zaps.

@kingsfan Not a lot of people seem to have my symptoms. Since day 1 I've had a hissing/static sound with tingles in my right ear. Maybe it's realted to my brain malformation they found. I'm going today to rule out TMJ. So idk.

I strongly believe in the gating hypothesis for tinnitus, where the dcn loses the ability to filter unwanted neuron activity and interprets them as sounds and sensations. I can feel some of my sounds and some go with my heartbeat and muscle movements.
