I am in the exact same spot; on Tinnitus Talk all day and looking for a cure when I already know there isn't one. Hoping Shore's device will help, but I know better to put all my eggs in that basket.

Chances of it getting better seem slim, for sure, but I have heard of it lowering from people I know personally and also from people who it's stayed the same but are no longer deeply affected by it like we are now. Today, it's pretty low, at least right now. We'll see what tonight brings!
I have pretty quickly stopped hoping for a cure and am just focusing on moving forward with this in my life. If it goes away great, if it doesn't at least I have done what I can to live with it.
