Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
@Tryn2BHopeful No these are legit sounds because my daughter can hear them very faint and when I plug my ears the sound is my typical sound. Now I've heard someone else say they could. So I was curious how many others could.
Yes! But like Tryn2BHopeful said, sometimes it's hard to know what's real and what's not. Like, lately I've had the notion that there are multiple musical pitches contained within the sound of my air conditioner but that only one pitch is dominant. But whereas other people hear just that one pitch, I hear ALL of them. I explained this to my husband, and he just didn't get it.
@ECP yep! I think because the sound is so micro that the typical human ear doesn't pick it up as easily but my daughter can hear them if she pays close attention.
@Lurius I've had that happen once with watching a YouTube video. Freaked me the f out! Now that can be normal since I work im a hospital we hear those ghost beeps even at home and before tinnitus... Still annoying though.
