I like classical music too. My taste in music has changed since my onset... something calm and relaxing about it when listening to it. I like to credit it with helping improve my dysacusis symptoms. Can't be too sure about that though.
@ZFire I have the same experience. There a many studies about music that give the brain "positive signaling", and that calms you down, is good for mental health. It also stimulates the vagus nerve - which is essential for over all wellness.
