I found some of your posts via Google. I think my Tinnitus is also caused by modafinil. I will let you know if i find the magic cure for it.....

Hey! I read some of your posts. I think something remarkably similar happened to me with the cause of my tinnitus (due to modafinil). I'm new to the forum but is there a way to private message you? Either way thanks for having posted about your experience. It's good to know I'm not alone going through tinnitus that was caused by this. :) John

That's T's sole purpose, it's to torture you and never let up. The perfect diabolical nano probe, injected into your brain, to cause unlimited pain & suffering, while keeping you alive.

Your're right @Sailboardman . If i needed to get information out of someone I know exactly what noise I would make them listen to.

Ya I don't know how I'm supposed ignore it with all the new sensations and sounds all the time. Maybe if I get used to the idea that there will always be changes going on: a more advanced version of habituation.

It's incredible how much my perspective about tinnitus can influence the volume of my T

Took some magnesium this morning. Currently sitting in a quiet room with only the faint noise of a laptop fan, and I can barely hear my T!

<- tried mega doses of magnesium, taurine, acetyl-l-carnitine, n-acetylcysteine, and countless other supplements with nothing really having made a noticeable difference.

Happy for you though! Hope it lasts. :)

Yeah i hope so to! It could just be a placebo or a feeling I have an element of control over the T and so I'm less stressed. I've had my fair share of spikes and panic attacks though lol
