Yes, Raclette.. It's very deliciouse and cozy during winter time. I mostly eat it 4-5 times a year.

@tomytl, so is Raclette the name of the cheese or the dish?
tomytl
Raclette is the dish name, can be made with any cheese.

Hi, today I realized, that some clearness in hearing got back, it's like I can better differentiate the cars or also speach.
But still this pressure and everything around my ears feels so stiff.. Tinnitus was loud this morning. But this might be the result of the mini-dosage benzo I took for sleeping.

@tomytl, I'm glad it's getting better. Does benzo increase tinnitus? I used to think people took benzos to "live more comfortably" with tinnitus, just to get through the day or the moment.

Due to supply issues, I currently only have Xanax, but I used to always take Temesta, which I found better. Temesta helped relax my tinnitus and overall much more effectively. With Xanax, I usually get mild headaches, and the feeling of relaxation is not as strong.

How are you doing, have you noticed any improvement anywhere as well?

@tomytl, How many milligrams? How long have you been using it and how often? How does it affect you? Xanax is not available in the UK. Did the doctor prescribe it or did you ask for it?
tomytl
I am now I am using a half of 0.25mg (0.125mg) Xanax and I try to take only every 2 or 3 nights. This time I asked my doc, but in 2014 I got Temesta right out from the ENT.
My best dosage with Temesta also a half of 1mg (0.5mg)
It really brought me out of the vicious circle to concentrate on something else. And this dosage it didn't made me tiered during the day.

And I never had any of a drug like this before, I had and still have big respect and I discussed it with my doc.

@tomytl, The symptoms I have are really at the extreme level. 24/7 constant ringing, reduced hearing ability, difficulty distinguishing and understanding sounds, a sense of imbalance when exposed to sounds, a sense of unreality similar to DP/DR, etc.

In this condition, they didn't give me the early-stage treatments anyway. My audiovestibular and neurotology appointments are scheduled far in the future. I will try to bring those appointments closer. My perception is completely distorted. I'm afraid to go to the doctor with these complaints and be misled, or to be gaslighted like many others, and end up becoming dependent on benzos or antidepressants.

I don't want to go through withdrawal syndromes or anything like that. I am truly in a deadlock.

I don't mean that benzos will stop the tinnitus, but they once helped me to break out of the self-reinforcing loop of anxiety and sleep deprivation. just used it for a shott time on low dosage.

@tomytl, Yes, I've seen these organizations before, but as I expected, all they do is tell you to accept this illness and offer no real help. Other than giving a small booklet to a friend of mine in the UK, they didn't do anything. Whether we accept it or not, we are alone in this illness.
2049v
@tomytl, Sooner or later, maybe out of desperation, I'll reach out to these organizations. When this first started, I registered with all of them, and even started a fundraising campaign in my name, but of course, no one helped.

@tomytl, This is the absolute worst and hardest experience of my life. I'm really struggling. Every day, I wake up in a nightmare I can't escape from, and no matter what I do, I can't get rid of this cursed thing.
tomytl
