Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
@henkess It's an injection that paralyzes the TMJ muscles, the effects are temporary. They last like 3-4 months. The doctor said that after some sessions the effects will last longer, like 6 months or longer. One session costed me 400 euros, but I believe there are lower prices depending on your location.
Such good news @Samy ! I just got a call yesterday that my insurance will cover Botox injections, so they want to do it next week. Never had Botox injections before so I am nervous, just don't want to experience a worsening with my reactive tinnitus ! I'm hoping it may calm my jaw muscles that I think add to my inner ear muscle vibrations.
@ErikaS Did you do the botox injections? I had these vibrations/ thumping when my H was worse. Now it's better and the vibrations are gone. Not sure if this is your case, though!
