    Sorry for contacting you so late. I contacted him because he offers prednison by infusion in his practice. Is more effective than orally.

    Hello Jan, I just got a konftech emLas520B 808nm. I see that you recommended that the caps on the diode be shortened to get a wider spectrum. Since I have the IR version, I can't check if I have enough sections and send a picture to check if it's enough to cut exactly above this edge of the base (3mm) .... Alex

    Yes! I cut about 2 - 3 millimeters... This way I think the diode is more effective. Kind regards, Jan

    Dag Jan, ik woon ook in Utrecht en heb last van T door een sessie met een boorhamer. Het is pas 2,5 week oud en ik vraag me dus af of HBOT zou kunnen helpen. Kun jij er meer over zeggen? Mijn T is vrij mild, als ik de verhalen zo hoor, maar ik zou er natuurlijk graag vanaf willen...

    Zie je bericht nu pas, krijg geen alert als je wat in mn profiel zet. Beter is om een PM te sturen.
    Ai, zaak is zo snel mogelijk te reageren, als ik je bericht eerder had gelezen had ik je een prednisonkuur aangeraden, en daarna eventueel nog HBOT. Maar prednison is het meest effectief... Maar alleen in de eerste 2/3 maanden... Sterkte!

    Hello Jan.
    Very new to Tinnitus and first time on a forum of any sort.
    I am interested in the Konftec laser.
    Having read quite a large amount of the threads here, my hope is that nursing my ears over the next year or so and trying LLLT (along with other options like CBT) might be the way forward.
    I would really value viewsyou may want to share?

    Hi Findes, I think LLLT might be helpfull in the case of fresh (< 3 month) tinnitus. You could consider the Konftec once, they are quite good and not that expensive. Kind regards, Jan
