Hey citigirl13, has your TTTS gone or is it still there?

If TTTS is the rumbling sound, then yes, that has gone. I have a little bit of crackling now but not a lot and still the T, but don't notice it nearly as much as I used to.

Hey citigirl, just wanted to ask how old you are? did you usually protect your hearing before T? did you protect your ears after T? and lastly did you have both T and H?

Hey Mr. Unlucky. I am 21 years old. I didn't protect my hearing before T - but I have been to about two, maybe three concerts, and haven't been to a club in over two a half years. I've been to a club about ten times in my life, maybe less.

I haven't protected my ears as yet because I have not been anywhere very loud, though when I go outside if it is cold I have to wear earmuffs because my ear, particularly the left, really hurts if it is cold. I do not have H, though I think I have had a bit of noise sensitivity because the noises didn't cause my pain, just a bit uncomfortable. It only really bothered me when I was putting the cutlery away.

Yeah thats what I experienced, things like silverware hitting eachother or screams on the tv would make me flinch not really painful though, my T seemed like it would go up a bit from the anxiety it seems. About two weeks ago I also woke up with silence thought my T had gone, was so happy went out for a bike ride came home to my room and there it was back, the same as before. Haven't experienced that again though.

Hi Marias21. My fleeting T happens randomly - i don't have a pattern to it. I wouldn't be too anxious. Your T goes for some of the time, so I think eventually it will disappear.

Had another bit of silence! Not sure how long this one lasted but I lay my head down, turned on my side, and couldn't hear it! IT HAD GONE

Was there a moment of silence? I think there was, at least in one ear - and the other one was very low too! :-) Please God it will go.

Disgusting "gunk" appeared on the outer part of my left ear! YUCK! Am assuming this is the fluid in my ear. Still is progress.

Hi. The ringing has not gone completely - it's here right now - but for a long time in the afternoon I did not hear the ringing. I honestly believe it was not there. I have been using the nasal spray twice a day since 21st Jan. and only on 6th Feb. were there signs it was leaving. Make sure you push the nozzle of the spray right at the back of the nose and high up, because the spray needs to reach the ears.

T went away for a while - then came back! Annoying but taking it is a good sign.
