I have SSD due to sudden hearing loss a year ago because of a Stapedectomy that went wrong. I developed Tinnitus and I am thinking on having a CI to deal with this problem. I would love to hear someone with experience on this matter. Did the CI helped you (or not) with the tinnitus? Thanks!

Hi, I am new to this forum. I had a stapedectomy in March because I had otosclerosis. It went bad. I lost my hearing completely in the ear where the procedure was performed and developed Tinnitus. I am a professor and a researcher (not a medical one...), and needless to say, the T is affecting...
