    Best Earplugs for High-Frequency Sounds

I'm officially going nuts. Just got the worst spike in months from working last night and I used 32 db reduction shotgun grade earplugs with a 22 db reduction set of muffs. I give up.

    Best Earplugs for High-Frequency Sounds

Wow. That is awesome, thanks a bunch. I wonder why they didn't show up when I googled high freq plugs? Anyway, many thanks.

    Best Earplugs for High-Frequency Sounds

I'll take a look thanks. If too pricey I might try the 33 db Hearos with the optime 95 Peltor muffs which I learned are mediocre, but one would think that Macks silicon with the muffs would be fine for a medium noise plant. Best Earplugs for High-Frequency Sounds

    Best Earplugs for High-Frequency Sounds

Tinnitus Spike with Earplugs and Muffs? What the Heck?

I'm looking forward to hearing what the "specialist" has to say after my MRI. The audiologist told me they can push your eardrum back out by blowing air in your nose but the "specialist" seemed dismissive of the idea. Anyway thanks for your comment. I'd still like to know how double protection...

Tinnitus Spike with Earplugs and Muffs? What the Heck?

Thanks for your response. Yeah my main concern was having the spike become a new baseline which is kinda what happened last year. I will quit this job if necessary but I'd like to avoid doing so.

Tinnitus Spike with Earplugs and Muffs? What the Heck?

Here's a very strange story, and I wonder if any of you can relate to it. I've always had a mild case of tinnitus caused by playing in rock bands as a teenager. It was constant and mild and not noticeable unless the room was deadly quiet. This all changed when I went to work for a temp...
