Oh yes, whenever I yawn I get a crackle in my right ear. Noticed it at the same time as my Tinnitus, as well as a stiffened jaw on my right side too.

I'd love to know this too, I have a crackling sound in my right ear whenever I swallow or yawn, which I am certain is my eustachian tube playing up.

I'm not a doctor by any means, but I've done a bit of reading. There could be a possibility that you have eustachian tube dysfunction, that it often characteristed by blocked ears, and a clicking jaw.
