Oh, how stupid to destroy someone else's life like that! Upsetting! No, I never took any medication, antidepressants, sleeping pills or such. I...
@jjflyman I would like to give a special thanks to you ❤️ Your support and help in my darkest days gave me so much hope than you can ever imagine!
I understand what you must be going through right now :/ I hope that you will heal with time. The first months are often the worst. At least they...
@Jupiterman No I didn’t change my profession, but I did study for 1,5 year in between
@Jsm_Joestar Thank you! Yes, that is me with the surprised cat pfp :)
Tinnitus got alot better. It’s 1/10. I’m finally free!
Hi there, I got tinnitus back in April 2019. It was bad, really bad, 10/10 bad. My tinnitus played 13 different tones in both ears. I heard...
@Stacken77 actually mine got worst the 3 first months. But now my tinnitus will spike for lesser reasons. I haven’t really improved for quite a...
I know it’s hard, but you will adapt to the noise, and it might even reduce over time. But you’ll have to wait 18-19 months or so.
I do drink coffee again, one cup a day makes no difference.
@Steph1710 I’m so happy for you! Sounds that you’re becoming free from this beast.
@Tanni I think I’ll wait to the 2-3 year mark. I’m scared to jinx it.
Thank you, I hope you’re doing ok @Steph1710 <3
19 months and tinnitus did fade alot compared to how bad it was. The noise used to be a 8-9/10, now it is a 2-3/10.
I started having daily episodes with fleeting T about 3 months ago.
Jag tror du behöver kontakta admin på TT.
@blackeyes Jag har pratat med andra användare här på TT, och de vittnar om att ett tunnare ljud är ett tecken på reducerad tinnitus, alltså en...
I’m not sure. It changes a lot. If you are experiencing near silence I think chances are pretty good for you.
I have that too, it happens every other day or so. I also get alot of fleeting tinnitus moments, almost everyday. I didn’t have that in the...
I have that too, but it settles and goes back to my ”normal baseline” after about 15-20 minutes everytime it happens.
@CAgirl I’m so sorry this happened to you. I know exactly how you feel and I’ve been saying the exact same things to myself many times. Noise...
Higher pitch... I don’t know, it’s like my T is getting thinner, and I perceive it as higher in pitch somehow.
Compared how my T was a year ago it is reduced. Maybe I’ll never get rid of it. Who knows. But I’m dealing better with T nowadays, and hopefully...
@Bill Bauer It is not that it’s getting higher in volume, it’s like it has changed into a higher frequence, and also it became lower in volume...
@Steph1710 Thank you for telling me, I hope that mine could heal like that. What caused your spike?
I think I know that story too. But our T is a whole different story.. In silence he couldn’t hear any T, but in my case I can hear it clearly.
My T is becoming more high pitched. Is this a good sign?
It might go away, but it can take a while. Do you know why you got this new sound?
For how long did you have this new sound?
I don’t use earplugs at night, but I think it is a good idea to try and learn to sleep in silence. Let the ears rest from noise.
I think this is totally normal, and you will perhaps ”accept” it more over time.
No their voices didn’t made your tinnitus worse. I was just that sensitive to loud voices the first 6-7 months. It faded, and now I do stand most...
This noise will never stop
Can you describe the echoing? Ears vibrating is a form of muscle spasm in the middle ear.
You are not weak. This is a shock for you, then it’s natural to react like you do. I was exactly like you the first couple of months...
I know exactly how you feel! We are many here that understand what you are going through. Please try and give it some more time. Things might...
I only noticed fleeting tinnitus during daytime.
The healing is slow. 13 months soon.
@Tom Cnyc Thank you for your kind response! It really keep me motivated, since I suffered one year already. I know that other suffered for...
May I ask, how long did it take before you reached this state?
@Bill Bauer that new tone vanished today. Let’s hope it stay gone.
I’m at the one year mark today. The event that led me to T will forever haunt me.
I’m sorry that this happened to you. Let us hope that this is temporary for both of us. I’m not sure if the tone was there all the time and that...
@Bill Bauer I’m just curious if the new tone will go away, since it seem to be quite mild? Still very annoying of course, like a electric noise....
I developed a new tone in my fairly ”good” ear. Life’s not doing well.
@serendipity1996 It’s some sort of dull pain in the eustachian tube/middle ear.
Nope.
Intermittent pain in my left ear.
JCH is a snake oilist, but I’m happy that your tinnitus went away.
I can’t stand this high pitched ringing/whistling anymore.
Yes around 11 months. I do want to be clear that H is not gone. It’s still there, but last summer I was homebound. Compared to that it is a major...
@Shelbylynn I experience the same.
11 months soon and I have mainly 2 tones left. Nothing really spikes my tinnitus anymore, but I’m being careful. hyperacusis is almost gone.
Still no improvement. It just stays :(
I had a morse code sound that was quite prominent. Now I only hear it when I plug my ears, even then it’s mostly gone.
I hope you’re right.
A week. I know, I know! I need to give it more time and try to be patient. I recently been having a bad flu aswell.
I used to have this too for many years, mostly as a child.
It’s not healing anymore. T stabilized to this multitone hell.
I don’t agree. The noise can fade and it does fade for many. I don’t believe that this is a habituation story. Happy to hear that your tinnitus...
