Used to sing a lot before tinnitus, but I stopped. It's been 13 months and I'd like to get back into it. Any precautions I should take?
Having some bad T days recently, but tonight I'm grateful my tinnitus can be somewhat masked by the chorus of crickets on summer nights.
Had ultrasonic cleaning @ dentist yesterday. T and H seem louder today. Could be from the dentist or just stressing about it. Hard to tell.
Left ear is a lot more reactive recently. I have been kinda stressed lately, but it's weird that it's mostly just the one ear. So confusing!
Possibly starting a new job at the airport. Inside, so the planes aren't too loud, but the announcements can get up there. Might need plugs?
Started taking Concerta for ADHD, unexpectedly finding relief for tinnitus. Volume's the same but I can focus on other things much easier.
First big spike in a while. It was stable for a bit then my right ear increased in volume a few days ago. Hope it settles down.

I can also hear it when wearing heavy ear protection (earmuffs) but it is fairly soft.
Noticed after exercise or being in a hot tub I can hear my heartbeat in my right ear. Goes away after a few minutes. Pulsatile tinnitus?

May have a mild spike from a too-forceful valsalva maneuver. Be careful!
Experimenting w/ coffee intake. 1 cup doesn't do much to T. 2-3 cups cause a mild increase. 4+ cups = bigger increase, also very jittery.
6 days into quitting vaping/nicotine. Tired w/ brain fog but T is pretty much back to baseline. Hoping for continued improvement there.

Had my 2 month Tinnitiversary a few days ago. Aside from a big recent spike it seems to be slowly getting better. We'll see at 3 months.
It was probably the bike ride. Longest spike yet - 5 days now. I'll keep hanging in there.
Could be a delayed spike from my bike ride or something else in the last few days. Is this delay common?

Don't get careless with your good days. Was doing well recently, forgot earplugs on a bike ride today. Now have ear fullness and louder T.
New T seems like a good excuse as any to quit nicotine. 2 yrs of cigs and 5 of vape; now once my juice runs out I'll put it down for good.
Lack of sleep definitely affects my t. Been sleeping well recently but only got ~4hrs last night. T is for sure louder today.
Stupid mistake - was driving (45mph), noticed side view mirror was pulled in. Rolled down the window to adjust it and ears blasted w/ wind.
Anyone wear foam earplugs for sleep? I sleep on my side and the seal sometimes breaks. Should I be concerned?
Read about Visual Snow recently and it's clear that I have at least a mild case. I believe it precedes my t but I just notice it more now.
May have got a minor spike from singing in my car (not to music, just by myself). Not out of the woods just yet.
Been off wellbutrin for 4 days. T volume has reduced significantly, and withdrawals seem minimal (some tiredness). Hope this continues.
Ear fullness from yesterday still there. Hearing is muffled with mild t spike. I'd guess from pressure changes while underwater swimming.
As luck would have it, I feel a fullness and a muffling in my ears tonight. Infection might be the cause. Too little too late I suppose.
Went swimming today. It was very therapeutic but I wonder, should I use plugs for splashing/water in ears? I swim in my backyard pool.
I wonder if the stress from the wellbutrin taper is doing more damage to my ears than the meds themselves. It's all so confusing.

Was very anxious about a stomachache today. Thought it could be something serious. T shot up. Will have to learn to manage my hypochondria.
Been going back and forth about wearing ear protection while driving. A very loud truck drove past me today. Will wear muffs from now on.
Took a warm bath today - very relaxing. My T seemed softer. Seems stress has a lot to do with T, or at least how loud I percieve it.
Anxiety about t is high. Took ear plugs in and out sitting on my patio in the rain. Felt a slight pop in one ear. T is same, still worried
Hard to sleep. Took 12.5mg of doxylamine last night. Got to sleep but woke up a lot. T seems about the same this morning.
T and H got progressively worse today. They're screaming in both ears. Trying to hang in there :'(

When I smoke weed, T seems louder but it goes back down. I've been smoking every day and still seeing improvement. But I will cut back a bit

Weird thing about my spike: my whine is louder but my cricket noises are still the same. Maybe the former is noise and latter is medication.

I noticed I tend to ruminate on events that maybe cause spikes. Trying to get into the space of "It happened, it's done, learn if you can".
Tried some CBD gummies yesterday + today. Doesn't seem to affect T but it does calm me down.
