    Sound Pharmaceuticals (SPI-5557 & SPI-1005)

Not everyone is in the know about medical research. It's generally only us who spend a lot of time on this forum. That said, I think many of us would kill for alleviation and if this brings us any we'd be very happy. I know I would be.

If this is true I could largely go back to a semi normal life (while taking good care of my hearing of course). My baseline is annoying but not life disabling. The reactivity however, very much is.

Still hoping it will also work for reactive tinnitus. Seriously, if this helps my tinnitus from fluctuating as wildly throughout the day, I'll be happy.

I just hope any of these upcoming treatments put an end to reactive tinnitus. I'd do a lot to take a shower without spiking, or listen to music without my tinnitus competing to be heard.

I just hope any of the upcoming treatments also work for reactive/fluctuating tinnitus... I agree that it's likely some sort of hyperacusis is at play. Never get any pain though, nor does regular noise sound too loud.

Yeah, my issue is definitely not pain or even regular noise being too loud, but my issue is the severe reactivity/fluctuations of my tinnitus which are very hard to pinpoint, but are probably due to noise and neck issues. I'd be okay if my tinnitus stayed at baseline, so if SPI-1005 could help...

Genuine question. I know reactive tinnitus is a huge debate, but do you think - if it is hyperacusis - it is also due to lingering inflammation? If so, could SPI-1005 possibly help the reactivity?
