The substance can be synthesized but as to how much to dose and for how long, no one has any idea. The patent provides a milligram dosage range that is comically obtuse.

I've asked a similar question before but now I have reason to revisit. I took 60 mg Prednisone a few hours ago and after fleeting tinnitus, all my most piercing strong tones are temporarily gone. Is it conceivable that I could achieve the same effect with Sound Pharmaceuticals' cochlear...

The other name for Trobalt - I think a reformulated version, not Thanos’, is already in clinical trials for another use, meaning it could be prescribed off label for tinnitus. Hopefully we won’t need it though.

You need brain too just in case... e.g. Retigabine reformulation.

I doubt I could get it synthesized but then again 3 months ago I doubted I'd be fighting for my life right now. I do have acute noise-induced tinnitus so in theory this seems like it could be helpful, but I guess if the issue is structural damage rather than inflammatory, it wouldn't do...

I am at the end of my rope but because I'm unsure of the mechanism of my tinnitus vis-a-vis this drug's effects, it would be a shot in the dark. @paul mclean - potentially another one to have synthesized.

Would it be fair to say if when you take prednisone, you see a large difference, then that's like an indicator that SPI-1005 would help, and likewise, if prednisone does not help, this would not do much? I ask because prednisone does basically nothing for me.
