    My thoughts exactly.

Does anyone have any guesses on how that would impact noxacusis and the release of ATP which triggers the afferent nerves? Honestly, if it just killed those cells releasing the ATP I’d be happy, but I certainly don’t want an increase of ATP!

Thank you for sharing! Ah! I see they are in SoCal. Maybe I can volunteer to be one of their lab rats...

There’s always Alibaba.com, and I’m close to being that desperate. I haven’t been able to find any other suppliers to either respond or that were affordable. I live in a major city, and my friend in biotech hasn’t been able to find a manufacturer in our area to make it, either. I was quoted...

I'd love for this medication to be available as soon as possible, but I fear it won't be available until sometime in 2023 because the Phase 3 Meniere's trials don't end until December 2022. Have you seen other information that gives you an earlier release date?

This is amazing news, and I’ve submitted a couple questions. I really, really hope that there is a focus on how this medication could help hyperacusis and how urgently it is needed by those of us who are suffering from it. It truly could save lives if it helps.

I don’t know, but I sure would like to. Being a total of about 8 months into this and 5 months into catastrophic hyperacusis, I can’t help but feel like the clock is ticking for something like this to help.

Hyperacusis Research just shared on Facebook that they are pursuing inflammation’s role in hyperacusis. I have no doubt that SPI-1005 will help acute cases of hyperacusis. As @weab00 mentions above, the million dollar question is if it will help the more chronic cases, too. I can’t help but...

I’ve asked my doctor, but he was pretty pessimistic about it. I’m going to keep asking, though.

I am very sorry to hear about your setback, and completely understand where you are coming from. Prior to hyperacusis I never took medication and I was very careful about what supplements I took. I still carefully research supplements before I take them for hyperacusis. Having chronic pain in...

I definitely have thought about it. I assume that it is similar to steroids; the sooner you reduce the inflammation, the better, and waiting for this to come out in a year or two seems like FOREVER. Want to split a batch? I’m only kind of joking around...

One of the trial sites is at a university very close to me. If only I could fake Meniere's to get my hands on it. Ebselen is so close yet so far away; it's maddening!

Thank you for clarifying, @FGG! That is actually a relief to me because I had a really bad reaction to NAC, and I was starting to worry that I’d have the same issue with ebselen. The thought of this drug helping in anyway is the only thing keeping me off the ledge. I can’t take years more of...

Please excuse my ignorance, but if SPI-1005 contains some form of Glutathione, would Glutathione IVs be potentially beneficial for hearing loss and hyperacusis? Those IVs are offered in wellness clinics all over. Seeing that those trials have been pushed back is soul crushing. Also, I’ve...
