I’m not 100% sure, but if you read the earlier pages, it was mentioned that they sold it to Oblato but then something came up and they haven’t started the Phase 2 trial yet. I would consider this company a dead end.

Which article are you referring to which talks about the patient having tinnitus and hyperacusis while receiving this treatment? Does it mention their hyperacusis and tinnitus going away after they had the treatment?

I think the bullshit is starting to show now. When companies can still continue to carry on with clinical trials, Hough Ear Institute and Oblato are using COVID-19 as an excuse for not starting. Definitely something fishy is going on.

Another difference is that Hough Ear Institute's synapse drug is a tablet whereas PIPE-505 is an injection. I wonder what the side effects of these synapse drugs will have between a pill and an injection.

I don’t get why Oblato are being stingy as fuck and not contribute $65,000 for the tinnitus trial for the pill. If they do believe that the pill works, why not put down the $65,000. Surely they will get their investment back once they release it in the market if it ends up being successful.

It’s quite unusual for Oblato to not test tinnitus in their clinical trials but ask investors to foot the bill instead. Why did Oblato decide to invest in the drug but not test for tinnitus? Did they think the pill was only useful for protecting hearing?

I do believe Oblato should have picked up the tab to test for tinnitus in the clinical trials. Imagine if it does end up curing tinnitus Oblato would have made so much money from their investment.
