Hello! I've been riding motorcycles all my life. I've always used earplugs at high speed.

Last ride, the plugs had poor fit. They worked but kept coming loose. I got tinnitus after the ride.

On the 8th day after the onset of the tinnitus I began Prednisone. I also had an audiogram.

      6 x 10 mg pills a day, with taper... a total of 69 pills.

Hearing was good with a slight drop below 20 kHz on both sides.

      I'm also taking Lipoflavonoids.

I'm on day 3 of Prednisone and Lipoflavonoids. We'll see.

I'm 63. Retired aviation mechanic. Just now posting because I've started to calm down!

63-year-old aviation mechanic with a good audiogram? Have you had bouts with tinnitus up until this point?
