I took antibiotics... Ciprofloxican and I have a mild form of t..I also suffer from reactive t, meaning it gets louder around the tv and going into restaurants or a place with a lot of electricity...do you think it will improve or go away with time?

Hi Vegas, welcome to TT. Regarding your T, hard to say if it will go away. it very well could, only time will tell. In the mean time you might want to consider seeing an ENT for an evaluation and maybe get a hearing test...

Hi, Vegas Robb,

Welcome to Tinnitus Talk! Your tinnitus sounds a lot like mine. I had mild tinnitus for many years; then, in 2010 I took a blood pressure drug that made my tinnitus many times worse. I've had tinnitus, reactive tinnitus, and pulsatile tinnitus since then.

But, the good news is, mine has gotten so much better recently! I think the drug may have played havoc with your system, or with an already-sensitive ear situation, causing the tinnitus. There is a good chance that, even if it doesn't go away, it will get better with time. Mine certainly has!!

Look around on this forum, and you'll find lots of information and ways to cope. We're glad you joined us!

Thank you Karen

When you say you got better, was it sudden or day to day ..thanks

It was day to day, and a slow, gradual progression.
