Hi all,
I am feeling pretty demoralized right now. After a week of ringing and a low intermittent hum, I woke up yesterday and the tinnitus was almost gone. Not completely, but about 98 to 99 percent. Nothing for the whole day. I even spoke to my GP, who agreed that it was, at the very least, a good sign.
This morning, however, I woke up at 2 a.m. to the ringing having returned, most likely triggered by rain on the metal roof above me.
It has faded a little since I have been up and about, but this is draining. I am very concerned about the effect this is going to have on me in the long term.
