      Loud Music/Stress
I stopped listening to music through earphones, headphones etc but when I listen to music through my phone at a reasonable level and I stop it from playing for a second my tinnitus kind of reacts like I can hear it slightly louder...

I still listen to the music that I was listening when I was using earphones so I hope that I'm not going to have some weird thing going on and not being able to listen to music anymore...

      Noise Induced
I had the same exact thing when I first got my T. If you listen for it closely, it goes up ever so slightly when you stop the noise and it then it goes back down. I would also get it when I would hear the faucet run or the A/C kick on or a fan next to me. Honestly, the only way it gets better is to stop listening for it. Now it doesn't seem to react much to noise as much but it took many months to get this way.
