Hello, I am Kiara and I am from Italy.
I will be 18 soon and I've had tinnitus for 14 months.
Altough I consulted many doctors no one found the main reason but there are two possible hypothesis:
1) It's due to a labyrinthitis
2) It was caused by high music.

The first week was terrible since I couldn't even walk, speak or eat without fainting.
Now I am kinda used to this nasty sound but the idea of the future scares me.
What if it gets worse?
Will I have it forever?
Plus recently I find very difficult to take flights since I feel like my ears are gonna explode.

It sounds like there was a lot more going on than tinnitus alone. I've never heard of tinnitus debilitating someone to the point that they couldn't walk, talk or eat without fainting. Is it possible that you had a severe viral infection and that tinnitus is the biproduct of that?

Labyrinthitis is a viral infection, but it is supposed to clear within six weeks or so. (It does normally cause balance issues, nausea, dizziness, etc. so that could explain the fainting...) Normally this would affect just one ear... Do you have it in one ear or both?

Plus recently I find very difficult to take flights since I feel like my ears are gonna explode.
Did you wear any ear protection during those flights. You can wear noise cancelling headphones (e.g., Bose 35) or Peltor X5A ear muffs.
