Antibiotic Advice Please — Is Erythromycin Ototoxic?

Hi I live in the UK and unfortunately I need to take antibiotics for a long lasting sinus problem.
I don't want to take them but I think I have little choice after a ct scan revealed a blockage which my doctor thinks is bacterial.
Anyway I have been pescribed erythromycin and I'm doing my homework. I think they are very ototoxic? Does anyone know of any relatively safe antibiotics I could ask for that will do the same job please?
I really could do with some help!!!!!

It's a Macrolide so it *should be* fine in oral (non-IV) doses. According to this link: http://www.dizziness-and-balance.com/disorders/bilat/ototoxins.html#safe there is only an issue a high IV doses.
