Anyone Developed Muscular Tension Over Head?

Hi folks,

Anyone developed muscular tension over their head due to Tinnitus? I'm wondering if the stress associated with it can cause it.

I wouldn’t say over the head, but I do get tension in my neck a lot... I think stress can add to that as well any other problems, like TMJ, muscle issues etc

 

I get tension related headaches when my tinnitus is at its worst. I was told by a neurologist that it's stress related.

 

Yes, it feels like my brain is just irritated by the constant noise. Gotta be tension headaches from the stress of the tinnitus

 

Yes Ive had tinnitus for four weeks and have really bad tension headaches. Hoping these will pass , my doctor has given me amitriptiline to try taking at night
